Our 2011 Regular Season Rates went into effect on April 15. Check them out on our website mantenogolf.com. Come out and enjoy the sunshine and green grass. The driving range is open; $4 for a small bucket (35 golf balls) and $8 for a large bucket (70 golf balls).

MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH
You don’t want to miss this!!!! Come celebrate Mother’s Day with an all you can eat brunch. Brunch will be served on Sunday, May 8, 2011, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The cost for the event is $19.95 per adult, $10.95 for children age 5 to 10, and children under 5 are free. Mothers will receive a %50 discount. 2011 LEAGUE INFORMATION
Manteno Golf Club has various types of league play every day of the week, and some of the leagues still have openings. Check the website for league contact information if you are interested in joining a league.
CRAZY THURSDAY
Crazy Thursday is back!!! You can play 18 holes with a cart for $20 (replay for cart fee is available) every Thursday this season. Because of league play on Thursday afternoon, however, we can guarantee a full 18 only up to 2:00 PM.
WEDDINGS, BANQUETS, AND OUTINGS

GOLF LESSONS AVAILABLE AT MANTENO GOLF CLUB AND LEARNING CENTER
Golf lessons are available at Manteno Golf Club and Learning Center for the beginner, average, or advanced player. Golfers can be young or old, male or female. Lessons can be private, semi-private, or small group. Bill Peterson and Frank Marassa are our instructors. Both of them are excellent golfers and are either a past club champion or the defending club champion. Our price is $40 per hour. Call the pro shop for more details at 815-468-8827.
YOUTH GOLF LESSON PROGRAM
Bill Peterson, pro shop manager and golf instructor, has set the dates for our annual youth golf lessons. The lessons will be given on June 13, 15, 20, and 22. The program includes a series of four one hour lessons and nine holes of golf on the final day for $35. Youth golfers will be divided into groups by age. Ages 9 and under will meet at 9:00 AM; 10 to 13 will meet at 10:30 AM; and 14 to 18 will meet at 12:00 PM. The Manteno Township Board has provided scholarships for children of needy families. Call Manteno Golf Course and Learning Center for more details.

Golf Course:
· Manteno Skins play every Saturday and Sunday morning at 7:45 AM.
· Men’s Senior Monday morning 18-hole league starts on Monday, April 25, at 8 AM.
· Men’s Wednesday afternoon league starts Wednesday, April 27 at 3:30 PM.
· J.P.’s Friday Night Couples 9-hole league starts on Friday, April 29, at 4:30 PM.
Banquet Hall:
· Rotary Club meets every Tuesday from Noon to 1:00 PM.
· April 17 – Manteno Historical Society “Citizen of the Year” Banquet
· April 27 – Manteno Women’s Club Luncheon from 12:30-2:00 PM
· April 30 – Wedding reception
· May 8 – Mother’s Day Brunch (RESERVATIONS ONLY)
