The Save Our Golf Course committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. They elected officers for 2012 at their December meeting. The officers are Jack Hoffman, President; Jeff LeVette, Vice-President; Dan Usrey, Treasurer; and Dick Kozuch, Secretary. |

Did you know that the town of Manteno could win one of 18 prizes if they get the most votes in this contest? Manteno could win as much as $50,000 if they win. Are you interested in helping us win? You can vote as many times as you want between November 16 and 11:59 PM on March 1, 2012. Here is how to do it.
Type in http://wehearyouamerica.readersdigest.com on your internet browser. An explanation of the rules, prizes, sweepstakes facts, and privacy policies can be accessed at the bottom of the website. First-time users must register. After that all you need is to enter your email address. In order to register the first time, type in the city and state or zip code and click on SEARCH. The Manteno site appears! Look for the LOGIN and click on Not Registered. Complete the required fields, and be aware of the checked boxes asking you if you want special offers. Click on CONTINUE. You can answer the question in the upper right-hand corner of the page, but it is optional. It probably wouldn’t hurt to say that you would help Manteno Golf Club and Learning Center. After you click on CONTINUE again, you can begin voting. Follow the prompts and vote as many times as you want. If 100 people voted 100 times every day (it takes about 15 minutes), that would add 10,000 votes per day to our total.
We need to finish in the top 18 to win money so get started TODAY!

Our 2012 Membership Drive continues. You can still qualify for a the $25 discount you re-new or join before March 1, 2012.
Save the Date: February 11, 2012, has been set for our annual Valentine Day dinner dance. It is a major fundraiser activity sponsored by the Save Our Golf Course committee. Proceeds go to golf course improvements.
